Conditions of Participation – Lanzarote International Cup 2026
1. General Conditions of Participation
These conditions govern the participation of the teams registered in the Lanzarote International Cup 2026. Their purpose is to guarantee the proper organization of the tournament and transparent management of all services provided to clubs, players and members of the coaching staff.
Registering a team implies express acceptance of all the sporting, logistical, administrative, economic and data protection rules described herein, as well as the commitment to comply with payment deadlines, cancellation policies and other requirements established by the Organization.
2. Official Registration
Teams must complete their registration exclusively through the official Tournament website: www.lanzaroteinternationalcup.com.
During the process, you will be able to select your preferred payment method: bank card or bank transfer.
In the case of payment by bank transfer, it will be essential to indicate the following in the payment details: Registration + Team Name + Category
Registration confirmation
The team's place will only be guaranteed once the following steps have been completed:
- Register on the official platform.
- Payment corresponding to the reservation of a place.
- Final confirmation by the Organization.
If the Organization rejects an entry for any reason, the amounts paid will be fully refunded within a maximum period of 48 hours.
Seat reservation It will not be refundable in case of resignation by the team, regardless of the reason.
Registration includes participation in the tournament, refereeing, and sports organization.
3. Participation Amount
Registration
• From September 1 to December 31, 2025:
- 7-a-side football: €350
- 11-a-side football: €400
• As of January 1, 2026:
- 7-a-side football: €400
- 11-a-side football: €450
Players and Coaches
• Package price per person: 490 €.
4. Documentation Delivery
All required documentation must be submitted within the deadlines and formats specified by the Organization. Failure to submit within the established deadlines may affect the proper management of the team's participation.
5. Initial Team Information
In the first phase, teams will be asked to provide an approximate number of players and coaches in order to facilitate the overall planning of the tournament.
6. Official Nominative Lists
Subsequently, a complete list of names for each team member will be required, including the following information:
- Name and surname
- Identity document
- Birthdate
- bib number
The lists received will be considered official for all administrative and logistical procedures.
7. Modifications to the Listings
Any modifications (additions, removals, or corrections) must be communicated via email to:
- Subject: “Change in listing – [Team name]”
- Clear description of the change made
- Updated list attached
8. Deadlines and Cancellations
Payment terms
- February 15: 25% of the total
- March 15: 25% of the total
- April 15: 50% of the total
Cancellation policy
Until March 15 (inclusive): refund of the 100% amount paid.
From March 16 to May 15: Refund of the 90%, provided that the team maintains a minimum of 7 players and 1 coach.
Starting May 16th: 80% refund only in cases of justified serious medical cause (player or first degree relative), presenting an official medical report.
The procedure will be:
- Email subject line as appropriate (“Player/coach withdrawal – [Team name]” or “Justified withdrawal – [Team name]”)
- Participant identification
- Updated list attached
9. Cancellation of the Tournament by the Organization
If the tournament has to be cancelled in whole or in part due to force majeure or circumstances beyond the control of the Organization (health crises, weather phenomena, closure of facilities, strikes, conflicts, etc.), no liability for additional compensation will be assumed.
The refund of the corresponding amounts will be guaranteed once the amounts committed to third parties that cannot be recovered have been deducted.
10. Medical and Travel Insurance
The tournament fee includes basic medical insurance valid during the event.
It is recommended to purchase additional travel insurance that covers incidents such as flight cancellations, lost luggage, repatriation, or accidents outside of the sporting activity.
Personal Data Protection Policy
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and current national legislation, please note:
- Data controller: Lanzarote International Cup.
- Purpose of treatment: Administrative, sporting and logistical management of the tournament; communications with those in charge; accreditations; security; insurance management.
- Legitimation: Express consent given in the registration process and fulfillment of contractual obligations.
- Recipients: Suppliers necessary for the provision of services related to the tournament. No transfers for commercial purposes will be made.
- Rights: Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability. To exercise these rights, a request with supporting documentation must be sent to the address provided by the Organization.
- Conservation: The data will be kept for as long as necessary for the management of the event and for compliance with legal obligations.
Registration implies express acceptance of this policy.
Bank Fees and Amount Differences
All bank fees charged by the issuing or intermediary entity will be at the payer's expense.
If you receive a lower amount due to fees, the Organization will notify you of the outstanding difference, which must be paid within a maximum of 7 days to keep your registration active.
Rules of Conduct and Behavior
The tournament reserves the right to expel from the competition, the facilities or any official activity any team, coach, player, family member or companion whose behavior is considered inappropriate, disrespectful or detrimental to the proper development of the event.
This includes, among others, violent behavior, insults, unsportsmanlike conduct, disregard for the instructions of the Organization or the refereeing team, disturbance of the peace and any breach of the Tournament rules.
Expulsion for misconduct will not entitle the holder to a partial or full refund of the amounts paid.
Use of Images and Audiovisual Material
Participation in the Tournament implies express authorization for the Organization to capture, store and use images and videos of players, coaches and teams during training, matches and official activities.
The use of the material will be exclusively for informational, promotional and communicative purposes related to the event, including its publication on the website, social networks, audiovisual material or official Tournament media.
This authorization is free of charge, does not generate any economic rights, and has no geographical limitations. In the case of minors, the team leader must ensure they have the consent of their legal guardian.
