In this second edition, the organisers have indicated and reported that there are hardly any places left to fill and that there will be more than 100 teams participating this summer in 2025.

Among the outstanding clubs, due to their long history, it is worth highlighting teams such as the Real Madrid CF, PSG Paris Saint Germain, all the great teams from Portugal, including Sporting de Portugal, Porto and Benfica. There will also be national representation with teams such as Sevilla FC, Real Betis Balompié and Real Sociedad. Obviously, the participation of local and regional teams will be important, as this tournament was born with the original idea of projecting the Canary Islands as a tourist attraction, ideal for sport, due to the weather conditions.

But the Lanzarote International Cup goes far beyond our borders, as institutions from other continents will also be attending. Teams from the United States, Mexico, Belgium and Greece have already confirmed their attendance… to name just a few examples.

The Lanzarote International Cup will take place on the 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd of June in the different venues that will be used throughout the island. For this reason, an attempt has been made to unite the island of Lanzarote on specific dates through the ball, thus achieving an event that transcends football to become a reference point for the sport. leisure, enjoyment and tourism.

The management estimates that more than 2,000 girls and boys will participate in this edition, who, together with their companions, will add up to a total of 8,000 people who will land in Lanzarote for a tournament like no other. In fact, one of the attractions of this cup is that many scouts from professional teams will not miss the opportunity to travel to the island to closely follow the tournament and everything that happens in search of "pearls" for the future.
